Flowers wither over time. There is no doubt that there is something important in them, but we cannot deny the sadness that comes with it. So we thought that if we use wood that ages and becomes more attractive as time passes, it would become a flower on the opposite time axis to the usual one. We hope that the more time passes, the more memories and memories will be engraved on it, and it will grow into an irreplaceable and precious flower.

About

A space where the entire room is covered in plants. To me, the perfect example of this is Nausicaa's room. It was a secret basement where the plants of the Sea of Decay were grown in secret, as they would not produce any poison if the soil and water were pure. Although the space was not bright and filled with sunlight and greenery, it seemed like a wonderful space filled with love.

Even though I long for such a space, I'm too lazy to water and take care of them every day.

But I thought, " Maybe I can create the space I've always dreamed of using the flowers from the trees I've grown!" And

I decided to make it my life's work to make lots of wooden kikka flowers . I'd like to say 100 varieties in total, but I'm still working towards my goal of 50 varieties.

Although the wooden flowers are not filled with light and greenery like Nausicaa's basement, I continue to create them, believing that I can create a space filled with love.

Thoughts

I'm thinking about making lots of flowers! But that's just my goal, and what's really important is in the movie "Léon," which I love. The main character, Jean Reno, takes a young Natalie Portman and moves to a new place with just a potted plant. With just himself and a potted plant. Regardless of the interpretation or meaning in the movie, flowers are like companions in life that you want to take with you when your life changes. I want to create a space like Nausicaa's basement, and at the same time, if I could create a flower like that for someone. The reason for making many different kinds is to expand the possibilities, and that is my dream and goal.
